The Vision for Maisha Mapya Academy

The need in our community is great. And He has given us a vision of how to help. We want to board Grades 4 – 8 at Maisha Mapya Academy as soon as possible.

But transition from a day school to a boarding school is no small feat. We have a veritable laundry list of needs before the property is ready to host 150 – 200 students.

In order to prepare the property, we’ll need:
• 2 dorm buildings with bunk rooms, bathrooms and showers
• A security fence around the property border
• Furniture (beds, bunks, wardrobes, etc.)
• Teacher housing
• Missionary housing to increase the presence of those that serve the Lord
• Additional staff (property caretakers and dorm parents)

The dream is big. The need is big. And there are 4 ways we are asking you to get involved.

1. Come to Kenya to help build
2. Consider giving a special "end of year" donation. Any amount helps.
3. Share the mission with others
4. Pray

This is just the beginning of the conversation for us. We would love to see how the Lord is speaking to you about the plan to board these students. The community is on board and excited about the opportunity that Maisha Mapya Academy offers to their children.
