Dear Friends and Family after much prayer I have decided to go back to Tanzania this year! This time we will be going to Shinyanga where E3 is planning to start a deaf ministry. The school for the deaf there is very open to letting us work with the children and has been happy to let them come twice in the past. This school is even larger than the one in Bukoba. With the team last year 5,821 people heard the gospel and 2,783 people prayed to receive Christ. These numbers... are amazing, but the most amazing to me was when I had the privilege of sharing the gospel at the school for the deaf and 2 boys accepted Christ. That made the whole trip worth it to me, even with falling flat on my face on the concrete, which I still have the scar! In fact I had to promise my husband not to try to sign and walk at the same time before he would allow me to go on this trip! Recently at my church we had a sermon series on Awaken! Pastor John preached on asking God to awaken our hearts to His presence and to our destiny. It is through this sermon series I felt God give me the dream of reaching out to the deaf worldwide! I am very excited to see what God will do on this trip. I need your prayers first and foremost. And if God prompts you I need your support financially.
