This will be my first ever mission trip to the Philippines! Although I have been to the Philippines once before, this visit will be for a different reason-- one of servitude and gratitude. I'm excited to be able to serve alongside Loma Linda University and aid in their mission to help others and "Make Man Whole", serving the whole person, and not just treating their physical being. At this time, I am halfway through my nursing school journey. I've learned an abundance of knowledge and skills, and I want to do my best to help anyone I may encounter and utilize the abilities I have developed. My SIMS (Students for International Mission Service) team will be volunteering to do health education, health assessment, helping patients and the community, and working alongside providers/doctors. If you are able to help me on this journey, I am hosting a fundraiser. Please consider donating in order to help fund this mission. If you are unable to donate, well-wishes and prayers are graciously accepted and appreciated too! Maraming salamat po!
In collaboration with ADRA Philippines, our team will provide healthcare education and assessment to
the local communities of Bukidnon- interacting with local patients, community members
and local schools to promote wholeness.
