Hey Y’all,
The door has been opened and I have been blessed to be apart
of a short- term mission trip to Ethiopia with E3 Partners Ministry and
Watermark Community Church in July, 2015.
The Lord has always put it on my heart to share the Good
News of Christ and what He has done for us. This of course is needed right here
in Dallas and is what I strive to do everyday. There are unreached people in
Ethiopia who have never even heard of the gospel and I am so grateful to get to
be apart of sharing that news with them and furthering the kingdom. The stories from those who have been is so moving and encouraging on what the Lord can do.
A little bit about my story
Grew up in a christian home and just surrounded by loving family who showed me what it looked like to put Christ first and others second. Most of my life always felt like I had to do the right thing in order for the Lord to love me and find favor. Praise the Lord He showed me that we are to come to him as we are and are precious to Him. Zephaniah 3:17 I am given the opportunity everyday to tell others that they do not have to reach a certain level or do certain things to be considered "a good Christian" or become one. The Lord simply wants you. The Lord can use anyone to be a light for His kingdom..even a small city girl going to share the good news in Africa.
What will we be doing
In Ethiopia we will team up with Ethiopian Christians as we
do children’s vacation bible school and woman/men’s outreach. The purpose of
the trip is to build relationships and share Christ with Ethiopians and fulfill
E3 Partners Vision of planting churches within the unreached peoples of Arsi
Oromo.
Your help in needed! This is a team project, and you are
needed on the team. First, we need your prayers for the spiritual battles
ahead. Second, your help is needed to help cover part of the cost for the trip.
The total trip cost is $3,950 so would you prayerfully
consider investing in this project? Much of this amount is due March 1st.
You are very important to me. Thank you for praying about
being part of our team.
