Hello there Family!
My name is Marcidale Amurao and I hope you’re having a great day.
This upcoming spring break, March 2019, Pacific Union College’s World Missions department and I are planning to do a mission trip to Fiji. With this privilege and opportunity, I will be able to gain valuable experience. I wish to participate in this unforgettable chance to share the Gospel with others, helping them grow spiritually, mentally, and physically. We will be serving at the Mana Island SDA School. We hope to leave an impact that will last for eternity.
The goal is to raise $2650 which seems like a lot, but I know that if there’s a will, there’s a way, especially when God is at hand. This amount will help cover the cost of travel, food, lodging, and our service project. I am not asking for myself, but for the adults and children in Fiji that are need of medical attention and expansion of their school. Just imagine, two orders of Starbucks or boba can be used instead to provide 50 or more children further education where their lives can change. You can be a part of something greater. So, I implore you to give whatever you can give. Anything and everything is much appreciated.
If you don’t know who I am or don’t remember, I am Pastor Mar and Ching Amurao’s youngest daughter. I have been a member of Loma Linda Filipino Church since I was three years old and I am now a Junior in college, studying Business Management and Global Development. My passions are helping others and traveling. By studying these subjects, I will be able to dedicate my life fulfilling God’s work. My aspirations are to work for organizations such as ADRA, Red Cross, or Peace Corp.
With your help, my time on the island of Fiji will be a blessing. I ask for your continued prayers for our team as well the people we hope to reach.
Thank you very much for your support. May God continue to bless us as we endeavor to carry out HIs ministry and His Gospel to all the nation.
In His service and blessings to you and your family,
Marcidale Amurao
