MANAUS, AMAZONAS, BRAZIL - JULY 2-10, 2016

Hello friends and family,

Thank you for viewing my fundraiser page! This summer I get the great privilege of traveling with young adults from the Dallas area to the Amazon river. We will be helping out with men's ministries, children's ministries, and door-to-door evangelism. There is also a strong possibility that we will be able to build a water well in that area. I consider myself very fortunate to have this opportunity and I hope that I can have your support!

The reason I have decided to go on this trip is simple. My life has been transformed by Jesus Christ. I recognized that I am sinner in desperate need of a Savior after graduating from college. When I graduated college, I had no clarity, direction, or purpose for my life. That all changed one summer when I read the book Wild at Heart and began to focus my attention on reading the Bible and studying God's Word. My life began to change at this point and I recognized the need to "change my playground, change my playmates." I ended up joining Watermark Community Church in February 2014. I am now in a community group, serving God's people, and walking with the Lord daily. This is the result of God's work in me. He pursued me, He loved me first, and now I must go and love on his people in Brazil.
