Gateway Team Trip Description: Ranchería Sinai, Teopisca, Chiapas, Mexico

The Gateway Team will embark on an impactful journey to Ranchería Sinai, a small community in Teopisca, Chiapas, Mexico, to assist in completing the expansion of a church that serves as a vital ministry hub for the local congregation. This project represents an opportunity to build not just a physical structure but also lasting relationships and a deeper spiritual connection with the people of this vibrant community.

During this mission, the team will focus on:

Construction Efforts: Collaborating with local church members and skilled workers to complete the expansion of the church. Tasks may include installing roofing, painting, masonry, and other finishing touches to ensure the space is ready for worship and outreach.

Community Engagement: Building relationships with the congregation and surrounding residents by participating in daily activities, sharing meals, and joining in prayer and fellowship.

Ministry Opportunities: Partnering with the church to host services, Bible studies, or children’s activities, providing encouragement and spiritual support to the community.

Cultural Exchange: Experiencing the rich culture of Chiapas through its people, traditions, and beautiful landscapes, while demonstrating the love and unity of Christ across borders.

The team will stay in Teopisca and work daily in Ranchería Sinai. This hands-on project is part of Gateway’s commitment to empowering communities to expand their reach and strengthen their ministry. As we lay bricks and raise walls, we also seek to build up the Kingdom of God, glorifying Him through our work, worship, and service.

This mission trip is more than a building project—it’s a time to witness the transformative power of faith in action and to leave a legacy that will bless generations to come.
