This summer, I have been given the incredible opportunity to participate in a short-term mission trip to Ethiopia with a group of young adults from Watermark Community Church in Dallas, TX.

In collaboration with E3 Partners, we will be travelling to remote, unreached villages in Ethiopia with the purpose of sharing the Gospel and working to ensure that every community has access to a local Christian church. After our departure, E3 country staff follow up with those who have made a profession of faith and work to establish new churches in these villages. With numerous trips spanning back to the summer of 2009, E3 and Watermark have seen thousands of Ethiopians receive the hope of Christ and church plants grow in influence in their areas.

After prayerful consideration and processing with family and close friends, it has become abundantly clear that taking this time to serve the people of Ethiopia is the perfect use of time during the “offseason” with work. With previous experience serving domestically, good health, and a desire to make disciples, I’m excited to see the hope of Christ move in Ethiopia! It also presents the unique opportunity to stretch and strength both myself and my other team members!

Part of participating in this trip involves raising $3,400 by July 1, 2022. While I am proactively contributing personal funds to finance this trip, any financial contributions supporting this trip would be greatly appreciated.

To help raise funds for my team, I will be raffling off two game-used, autographed sticks by Dallas Stars players Jake Oettinger and Miro Heiskanen! With every $20 contribution, you will receive an entry to win these one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia pieces. Drawings for these sticks will happen on Monday May 30th and Monday June 27th. All donations made will go directly towards financing my team's trip with E3 Partners. UNFORTUNATELY, ANONYMOUS DONATIONS WILL NOT BE ELLIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DRAWING!
