Salam!

Thank you for considering supporting me in prayer and/or financially for my upcoming trip to Ethiopia in August. I had the amazing opportunities to go to Ethiopia in July 2022 and 2023 and cannot wait to go back!

A little about me - Jesus radically changed my life 8 years ago when I found myself at the lowest point in life. I felt weighed down by shame caused by sin in my life and finally couldn't pick myself back up anymore. I had always known the stories of the bible and that Jesus loved me, but I was constantly trying to earn God's grace. When I allowed God to work in my heart and rely on His strength in my weakness, I experienced genuine joy and peace that surpassed my understanding (Philippians 4:7). It is 100% because of Jesus' death on the cross that I am able to walk in freedom from sin and shame. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Since following Jesus, my life hasn't looked the same. God has surrounded me with a wonderful community group of women that sharpen and encourage me, a high school small group to walk alongside in truth and love, and many more opportunities to serve people around me.

I will be traveling with a group of young adults from Watermark Community Church and e3 Partners Ministry. We will serve alongside local Ethiopian Christians through VBS and men's/women's outreach. Our purpose is to build relationships and share Christ with Ethiopians who have never heard the name of Jesus, as well as help fulfill e3 Ethiopia's vision of planting churches within the unreached people.

Last year we witnessed MANY people come to Christ! Our Ethiopian partners have continued to disciple these new believers as they grow in their love and understanding of God. God is at work in the hearts of Ethiopians and is using believers from around the world to further His Kingdom.
