In Loving Memory of Josie Welch 

Josie Welch found strength and purpose in God and poured love daily into her marriage, her daughters, her grandchildren, and so many others. Throughout her life, she taught Sunday school, led children’s ministries, worked with disabled children and new mothers, fostered children, made quilts for severely ill infants, and taught English to immigrants. Her motto in life was, “Work as if everything depends on you, and pray as if everything depends on God.” Josie approached life with humor, wisdom, kindness, and unwavering honesty. She and her husband Dick have supported Mercy House with their finances and prayers for many years. On October 9, 2026, Josie joined her Savior in heaven.
