I'M GOING TO COLOMBIA!!! I am so stoked to be going on a team to Armenia, Colombia this summer with my church and family, Midlothian Bible Church. This past January-February I did a study of the book of John for the very first time! I had only read John in tiny bits and verses but never with any context or study... It vividly impacted my view on Jesus, His love, the gospel, and my desire to share the good news with others. The last verse in John is this, "but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." John 20:31

I want to go to Colombia this summer to join my team in going door to door with translators and the local churches there, and loving on the people that open those doors. To tell them about the grace and freedom I have found only in Jesus. To tell them about the HOPE they can have in and through Him. To tell them about the great sacrifice He made for each and every one of them. I am so excited.

I wanted to come on here and ask for your support in PRAYER.

- Prayer for our team, there are 37 of us going from Midlothian Bible Church!

- Prayer for our minds and attitudes to be prepared, for us to prioritize spending time with the Lord (always lol not just for a mission trip but the prayer is always appreciated)

- We are flying because the Atlantic Ocean is in the way so prayer for safety in the airports, flying there and back, and also while we are in Colombia

- Prayer for the leaders from our church and the leaders we are partnering with from the churches in Colombia, that they'd have wisdom and peace as they continue to lead

- Prayer for unity in our team

- Prayer against spiritual attack and lies of the enemy, that we would use the sword of the spirit and trust in the Holy Spirit

and lastly, for our financial needs to be met by the Lord and that we would not, in our pride, try to make up the finances in our own strength. Or in our distrust, worry about it instead of trusting the Lord. I want to trust the Lord and remind myself,

"when has He ever NOT been faithful and sovereign?"
