Hi Everyone :)
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
As a
junior in college, I aspire to become a doctor and care for the patients in my
practice. This dream can become a reality this upcoming Spring 2017 when I hope
to offer my time, skills, and resources to gain experience serving on a medical mission
trip.
I am planning on traveling to the stunning island of Mana, Fiji in hopes of improving the lives of Fijian people. Here in the U.S., we are incredibly blessed with medical and dental facilities and equipment that enable us to provide exceptional healthcare. Simple visits to the doctor and dentist are just checks off of our “errands” list, however, it is not as accessible for the Fijian people. With the help of many PUC students, doctors, dentists, and health care volunteers, this spring we will be providing Fijians with the health necessities that they need. During our weeklong stay in Fiji, we will be providing routine check-ups, teeth cleanings, and will also be doing constructive work. We will be building medical and dental facilities and a church for the Fijian people so that they can come together as a community to praise and worship God.
The funds I have saved for over the past year thus far, do not suffice to help me go on this trip. Thus, I am asking for your help to attain my goal. Any donation to help me with my mission trip to Fiji would be very appreciated. The donations will not only help me make this trip possible, but it would also help me aid and better the lives of over 300 Fijians in need.
Thank you for taking the time to show your interest in my goal and I am looking forward to updating you all with the progress of my goal and the impact I know this mission trip will have on me.
