Misty's first trip to Haiti was in 2005 where she fell in love with the people and a nation. This short journey led her to begin a career in non profit ministry in 2011 where she developed a deep passion for working with the people of Haiti to try to tackle the injustices that live on the land. Shortly after the catastrophic earthquake that hit the country, Matt and Misty met on a short term trip and eventually worked together within the same non profit organization. After realizing their shared passion for ministry they created Life Ansanm to invest in the community and bring a sustainable impact to Cap Rouge. Haiti. Misty resides in Flagstaff, AZ with her incredible hubby and twin boys.
