You can make the difference for a mom like Melissa and her family.

Melissa grew up with a mom who was a prostitute and drug addict, who lived in hotel rooms with her children. Melissa remembers hiding under her mom’s bed while her mom was prostituting. She remembers sleeping on dirty floors, searching for food in dumpsters and looking for shoes in the trash. When she was finally removed from her mom’s “house,” Melissa bounced between 8 different foster homes.  



As a child who never really felt loved by her mom, Melissa still struggles to believe anyone loves her. Yet, she shared with me that her heart’s desire is to be a better mom than she ever had. And, that’s where ChannelMom comes in... with your help.

Melissa has attended ChannelMom events, called into our radio show and received continual guidance and love from one of our volunteers. Today, Melissa is raising her two boys in a stable home as a dedicated, stay-at-home mom. She seeks God’s help to be a better mom than she had herself and her young boys are the proof. Rescuing moms leads to rescued children too!
