Dear Family and Friends,

As you may know, I am currently a student at Pacific Union College working on my bachelor’s degree in nursing. I have been given the opportunity to join other students on a mission trip to Kenya this summer, August 30-September 10, 2017. PUC will be partnering with African Mission Services in the Masai Mara to build a dorm for the Masai people. We will also be traveling from Nairobi to Masai to help in a medical clinic.

While I am excited to begin a career in nursing next year, I look forward to being able to help those who do not have access to the kind of medical care we take for granted here in the United States. I have never had the opportunity to go on a trip like this, but I am grateful to have the chance to do so before I graduate. Although I have been working and saving for this trip, I am still falling short of my goal of $2,625. Therefore, I am asking those of you who are able, to help me reach my goal with your donations. Even if you are unable to financially support me, I would still appreciate your prayers for our group as we prepare for this trip.
