Dear Friends,

  It was brought to my attention that the Title of my link could be distracting to some.  I am not going on a Cruise to the Caribbean but on a Missions trip to the country of Cuba.  Please read my story below and consider supporting myself and my son Trevor as we take this leap of faith.  Thank you for your consideration.  If you would be so kind as to comment on any suggestions for myself and Trevor please feel free. 

            Not too long ago during my prayer time God placed on my heart the need to go on a missions trip to spread the gospel. If any of you know me, I do not travel well, nor do I have the desire to travel too much especially outside the boundaries of the United States of America. Being obedient to the Holy Spirit I let my friend know about my prayers and within a week I was meeting with Rick Eisman from E3 to share. Long story short we have now set up a missions trip to Cuba. It is unique as I will be taking my son and 12 other teenagers to evangelize and play baseball. We will also have 7 adult chaperones going with our team, making a missions team of 20. My first missions trip might as well be to Cuba, why not. FYI the only time I have left the United States was to Canada.

            In order to make this happen, we will need to cover the cost of the trip. The cost of the trip for Trevor and myself is 1800.00 each. This cost will cover, flights, meals, interpreter, transportation etc. We will be taking the trip from June 19th to June 29th. I am reaching out to all of you for two reasons. First reason is to pray for our trip. Pray for our missions team and that God will use us greatly on the island of Cuba. Secondly, if you feel prompted your financial support would be greatly appreciated. I am not too good about asking for myself, so I will ask that you pray for clarity will come to you and you will see the value in supporting this mission and the Kingdom of God. We will be going to the city of Placetas to conduct baseball clinics and have baseball games with local 16-20 year olds.  It will create great interest and many from the community will come to watch…especially when the local Cubans play the Americans.  Working with a local church, we will get into homes to do IAM2ND Bible studies which will ultimately reproduce and become house churches.
