We are adopting again. 🤎🤎🤎

For the third time, God has invited us to grow our family through adoption.

We are once again working with Christian Adoption Services, the same agency that brought our first two children to us. We have officially been accepted as a prospective adoptive family, and right now, we’re deep in the paperwork, preparation, and waiting that comes with #3.

A few weeks ago, a friend read this verse aloud in our house church, and it has stayed with us ever since:

“But as for me, I watch in hope for God my Savior; I wait for God my Savior, my God will hear me.” — Micah 7:7

That verse has become especially meaningful to us in this season. Adoption requires hope, patience, faith, and trust. It means doing what we can, preparing our hearts and our home, and then waiting for God to do the rest.

Our family has already been changed forever by our children, and the thought that there may be another little life that God is preparing to bring into our family is both humbling and incredibly exciting.

But we also believe something else: adoption isn't something we're meant to do alone.

We believe that when God calls a family to adoption, He also calls a community around that family. Some people are called to pray. Some are called to encourage. Some are called to make a meal, babysit, help with paperwork, or simply walk alongside us through the waiting.

And some may feel called to help financially.

Adoption is expensive, and there are significant costs associated with the process. So as we begin this journey, we're inviting our family and friends to be part of it with us—not because we expect anyone to give, but because we believe everyone has a part to play when it comes to caring for children and supporting adoption.

If you feel led to give toward our adoption, we would be incredibly grateful. Every gift—large or small—helps us move one step closer to bringing this child home. And if giving isn't something you're able to do, your prayers, encouragement, and support mean just as much to us.

We’ll be doing some fundraisers along the way, and we'll share those here as they come up. We're also happy to share more about the adoption process and where your support goes.

Most of all, we ask you to pray.

Pray for the child God may be preparing for our family. Pray for their birth family. Pray for wisdom and discernment for everyone involved. Pray for protection, provision, patience, and peace as we walk through the unknown. And pray that we would remain faithful to what God has asked us to do.

We're watching in hope.

We're waiting.

And we're trusting that our God will hear us.
