Dear Friends,

I hope you are well! I believe that God makes no mistakes and that he has intentionally placed you in my life. I know that the friendships I have and the experiences I have gone through heavily impact the person I am today. Because you are an important part of my journey, I wanted to share with you how the Lord has been moving in my life this past year. As you might remember, I attend Watermark Community Church in Dallas, TX.  For almost three years, I have been serving as a leader on Watermark’s Gather ministry for single adults in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. Through this ministry, God has given me brothers and sisters in Christ to do this life with, as well as an urgency in my heart to share Jesus with those who do not know him. In September of 2019, I began an eleven -week study called Equipped Disciple 1. In November of 2019, I shared my story of how the Lord has been blessing me in this time of singleness in front of 300 people. If you know me at all, that is the last thing you might expect from me. Through God’s grace, I am being strengthened in who I am in Him and no longer dependent on my own abilities.  In the pursuit of growing my knowledge of His word and how to bring His message to others, I decided to continue to the next study level, Equipped Disciple 2, which I am presently in. God is faithful and continues to totally renew my mind and spirit in ways I cannot predict. For this, I give Him all the glory! My desire is to share with others, the light, the hope, and the love that Christ has given me.

God has opened the door for me to go on a short-term mission trip to Ethiopia with e3 Partners Ministry and Watermark Community Church this summer 2020. We will partner with Ethiopia Christians as we do children’s vacation bible school, as well as men and women’s outreach. Ultimately, the purpose of the trip is to build relationships and share Christ with Ethiopians who have never heard the name Jesus and help fulfill e3 Ethiopia’s vision of planting churches within unreached peoples of the Arsi Oromo.

Your help is needed! First, we need your prayers for the spiritual battles ahead. Second, your help is needed to help cover part of the cost for this trip.

The total trip cost is $3,400 so would you prayerfully consider investing in this project? Much of this amount is due April 1st.  These funds go toward transportation, food, lodging, translators, and supplies. Any funds raised beyond the trip cost will be directed toward the local disciple-makers training.
