Crux Summer Missions Outreach to Haiti

Dear Friends and Family,

I am very excited to have the privilege to serve in Haiti over spring break. I will be joining a group of high school ministry students from Crossline Community Church to serve the people of Haiti. In 2010, Haiti was hit by an earthquake and still has not recovered from its devastation almost nine years later. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, and one of the poorest counties in the world. The earthquake took over 316,000 lives, injured 300,000, and left one million people homeless. We will have the opportunity to help in an orphanage with the children, paint homes, and provide much needed supplies and support to the Haitian people. We will spread the word of God and I know this experience will not only help the Haitian people, it will provide me with a new perspective on life, and strengthen my faith. I strongly believe I have been called to serve in Haiti, and need your help to make it possible.

In order for me to be part of this journey, I need to fundraise $2,495 to cover roundtrip airfare to / from Port au Prince, Haiti, lodging, in country-transportation, meals, and outreaches. Every tax-deductible dollar is appreciated and helps me get closer to reaching my goal. Your support, and prayers mean so much to me and I am forever grateful!
