To abide means to stay. It means to continue in the same place for a long time… Faithfulness in a constant direction. When we abide, God produces fruit. We understand that apart from Him, we can do nothing. But in Him and through Him, anything is possible!
Marginalized people find themselves in vulnerable positions because they have been left behind or pushed to the sides of society. At Mercy House Global, we stay because God stays with us. We are vulnerable without Him.
Abide is another word from home. At Mercy House Global, we house vulnerable people in practical ways—through empowerment by creating opportunities that provide hope.
Sometimes opportunities look like a nutritious meal and cozy bed, a hard-to-get education, a baby’s full cheeks and belly laugh. Sometimes hope looks like a basket made of sisal or a candle made by an overcomer. It often looks like two together, rather than one alone .
At Mercy House Global:
✓ we welcome pregnant girls to a second-chance sisterhood home
✓ we create jobs for the marginalized to work from home
✓ we empower artisans to make beautiful items for your home
✓ we welcome refugees to a new country that will become home
✓ we reintegrate teen moms back to their homes;
✓ we house volunteers, over-comers and women together
✓ we connect the circle and God completes it because He is home
Abiding in Christ connects all of us in the family of God.
For nearly 15 years, Mercy House Global has created opportunities to keep families together. Together, in this circle, when we provide home for the vulnerable, our homes are changed too.
Make a year-end, tax-deductible donation and together we can create more opportunities that provide hope for vulnerable families.
