While most people choose to relax over spring break, I have been given the opportunity to travel to Ferrier Village in Haiti with members of my youth group from Edenton Street United Methodist Church, as well as members of the Help One Now team.
Ferrier Village is an anti-trafficking initiative of Help One Now. It is a refuge for orphaned children who have been rescued from traffickers, or are at a high risk of being trafficked. It is a place where these children will be cared for and restored to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
This trip is something I've been wanting to do for a couple of years, and I would love for you to be part of it
. The first and most important
thing I am asking for is your prayers, as everything about this trip is
in God’s hands. I am also asking for financial support if, and
only if, God lays it on your heart to support in this way. While this trip is already very expensive, we are also raising an extra $500 to help Help One Now support the classrooms in Ferrier Village.
I have no doubt this experience will be life-changing and I am
excited to share it with you. Above all, thank you for your many prayers and support, and I look forward to sharing my experience in Haiti with you!
Thank you!
