Named one of the New 7 Wonders Cities, La Paz is a stunning metropolitan area that hosts over 2.3 million residents. The city was originally settled in 1548 by Spanish conquistadors in a bowl carved out by several high mountains. As the city grew, it expanded beyond its original geographic boundaries to the peaks. As a result, its elevation extends from 10,500 to 13,500 feet above sea level. In the near distance, the Illimani mountain towers over La Paz, visible from most of the city.

What We're Doing
For all of the city's beauty, poverty, witchcraft, and idol worship remain serious issues for many of the people. On this expedition, we will offer free reading glass clinics in communities where few can afford even reading glasses. Our team will be ministering and starting small groups in some government senior activity centers.
Through this outreach, we will have the opportunity to share Christ with many Bolivians in the area while partnering with local churches. As individuals come to faith, they will be organized into small groups that will serve as the foundation for new churches. This is your chance to spread the Gospel and serve people's basic needs in a beautiful and culturally significant city.
How can you go too?
Physically - We need more people. If you feel called to go with us there is still room on the team! Click the link (on the right) to take you to the trip page to learn more about how you can come with us to La Paz!
Financially - We need to raise about $5,600 to support our journey. You can donate to our trip directly on this page. If you'd like to pay with a check, please reach out so we can give you instructions on how to do so.
Spiritually - Pray for us or send us encouraging notes and scripture!
1) Pray for our beautiful children as we leave them for 9 days.
2) The people of Bolivia. That their hearts and mind will be receptive to hearing the gospel. That language and age barriers will not hinder the truth of Christ!
3) Our health & safety (we will be living at +12,000 feet)
4) God to move in the country and our hearts.
