Tanzania is a diverse land rich in mineral resources. The beauty of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular wildlife and white sand beaches make it a popular tourist destination. Mugumu sits on the edge of the Serengeti National Park, home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, and many other creatures and has over 100,000 visitors each year. The area is also home to many ethnic groups and tribes who struggle to meet their daily basic needs.
What we are doing:
This expedition will focus on Community Transformation (CT) in 5 villages that currently have active CT groups. We will be working with farming groups to show them ways to improve crop yields. We will work with a group of women with HIV/AIDS and provide health/nutrition education with a focus on introducing Moringa and Neem trees. We will help a local church start a day care center in order to minister to the needs of the many orphans in the community.
Our goal is to provide support to encourage and foster continued community transformation for God’s glory!
GO! GO with us for a life transforming experience as you transform communities for God’s glory.
