Join Me in Sharing God's Love in Uganda: I felt God stirring my heart for Africa at sixteen.  I was sitting in a church in the Dominican Republic after talking to a little girl who was deaf in ASL (American Sign Language), even though she should have only known Spanish Sign Language. I was the only one on the trip around her that could speak ASL. As small as this was, it ignited my heart with excitement. There was a reason that God specifically had me go on this trip.

I felt inspired, and I longed to be used by Him again. "God, where next?" I prayed. "Africa," I heard.

I tried to figure out what country in Africa to go to and how to get there for many years. But it was pushed to the back burner as I started college. That is, until at a Cory Asbury concert, Cory stopped his set to ask the crowd, "What is something that you feel like God has put on your heart that's on the back burner?" I could feel the word "Africa" resonate in my heart.

Even still, it took many years of prayer, ministry preparation, and the right organization before I finally booked this trip. I am so excited to finally walk in obedience and go to Africa, Lord willing.
