Ray and Sara Aten have been married for 36 years, have seven children and lived a comfortable life in Wisconsin.  Then God changed their world.  

The Atens began ministering through Sara's singing talents and Ray's administrative and general "fix-it-all" abilities.  They worked with the Salvation Army conducting Bible studies and church services in prisons across the US.  That expanded to the organization's drug and alcohol rehab center, rescue missions, church services, inner city outreaches and conferences.

God has now called them to live and work in Haiti. We are pleased that they have joined World Wide Village to use their gifts and talents.

Sara sings at WWV outreach events and women's conferences and ministers to young women victimized by abuse and rape. Ray oversees WWV special projects and young mentors men.
