Why should you support my work at Refuge Foundation?

Men are supposed to be leaders, they are to be strong, to thrive under pressure. But based on my 26 years of experience and national data, a large subset of men are tired, lacking hope, clarity, and direction. Many on the brink of burnout. Almost fifty thousand of those men commit suicide a year.

 Refuge was designed specifically for serving leaders facing burnout. From pastors, non-profit leaders, school teachers, and military, we host a diverse range of guests (about 50 per week) for 11 months a year. 

It is my privilege and job to serve them - my days involve everything from guiding during the day to mopping floors at night. But my passion is not fishing, my passion is people.

Inviting them into conversation, fun, rest, and ultimately the love and care they desperately need. I love our guests by connecting, asking questions, being an ear, and a voice of truth when it's needed. I feel so blessed to have found my passion, and I would be eternally grateful if you would be a partner in my mission - bringing the love of Jesus to men (and people across the world via social media) so they can return to their demanding lives with renewed direction and hope.
