My name is Caden Perkins. I was born in South Carolina and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am currently 19 years old and have a family that includes two sisters and two amazing parents.
After high school, I worked in construction with one of my mentors. During that time, we had many meaningful conversations about my future, and I realized I wasn’t sure what path I wanted to take. That’s when he introduced me to Refuge Foundation. From that moment, I knew I was called to serve the Lord. Shortly after graduating high school, I made the decision to come to Refuge and begin that journey.
Now, I am passionate about growing in my faith and serving others however I can. I am excited to see how God will use my life to make an impact and help those in need.

The statistics are staggering. We desire to walk alongside leaders in a manner that serves them, refreshes them and coaches them toward holistic health. Refuge desires to serve people who serve people. By keeping not-for-profit leaders healthy, we believe we can bolster the organizations they lead and make the world a better place. There are plenty of organizations that offer helpful, remedial assistance to burnt-out leaders, their services are needed and valued. However, Refuge desires to avoid leadership burnout through preventative means thereby avoiding preventable crisis.
