As many of you know we are in the process of adopting from Ohio. Almost three years ago we brought our son Noah home from the hospital in North Carolina. We prayed then that God's work of adoption in our family would not end there, and we are excited to continue walking toward what we believe God has called us to in adoption.

We are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new baby boy into our family. As part of our adoption process, we have set up a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $30,000 or more. We have been working hard to save and set aside for this adoption over the last couple of years, and friends, family and our local church have been so generous in giving towards this adoption already, but we still need help in order to reach our goal.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he grows up. Thank you for praying, supporting and caring for our family as we seek to model our adoption as sons and daughters of God through this earthly gift of adoption.

4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God. Galatians 4:4-7
