Grab your friends and get ready for Ragnar’s biggest running
party of the year at Reebok Ragnar So Cal on April 3-4, 2020. It’s the 11th
anniversary of the relay and this is the 2nd year in a row that Team Chanje is sending runners out for this cause, and this year we are sending two teams!!
What is it?
Each team has 12 awesome studs pile into two vans and run “relay style” on a 200-ish mile overnight adventure. Sound’s awesome, right?! It IS!!
We’ll divide each team of 12 into two clusters of 6, and each cluster has a van... every runner will be given three legs of various lengths to complete over the duration of the relay. Each leg will be somewhere between 3 miles and 8 miles long. However, one lucky runner in each team will have the honor of running a 12 mile stretch and earn themselves an extra medal!
Yeah, but WHY?!
Well, aside from just being an awesome adventure with great people, we are running to support the people of Haiti through the Chanje Movement. We are bringing a hope and a future to the children of Haiti through community transformation and revival.
In the last year through the Chanje Movement in Haiti, thousands had continuous access to clean water and received emergency meals, 500 leaders received training, 75 youth received regular primary and secondary school education, five homes were built, businesses were launched and many jobs created. We are helping Haitians be the Heroes, thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers. We are eager to see the growth that continues to take place in 2020 and beyond.
Haiti, like much of the world, is in need of change. We believe that God can bring help and hope to the nations, and that He will do that through the hands and feet of people. Together, we are committed to raising movements of change in the cities, towns and villages of the world.
