To My Brothers and Sisters, some I might not even know yet.  My name is Russ Johnson and in July of this year I will be going on a short-term mission trip to Limon, Costa Rica.  I will be going with a ministry called E3 Partners.  They are a church planting organization that does God's work all over the world  I have partnered with them over the last 20 years, serving primarily in Central and South America.

This expedition is a unique opportunity to reach the people of Limón with the story of Jesus. We will be providing primary care, eyeglasses, and community health education.  Then after addressing their physical needs, we will be giving them the opportunity to hear the gospel.

We will also encourage and disciple existing Christians. As people give their lives over to Jesus, they will be connected with local pastors who will establish new small groups and churches, ensuring a lasting impact in the region.

I am looking for people like you to come along side me with both finances and prayers.  I would also like to encourage you to join me.  I took my first trip with the goal of learning how to present the gospel.  I took the Great Commission seriously and personally. If you come with me, I will help you all I can and promise you that you will come back a changed person.  There is nothing like being totally immersed in God's work.
