Howdy!
If you know me well - which you likely do if you are on this page - you know I was blessed with the opportunity to serve on a short term mission trip to India in 2017. It was on this trip that the Lord first began to grow in me a heart for the nations. Since returning, I have longed to again go be with His church overseas as they seek to share the good news among their peoples. I did not know where the Lord might lead, but five years later
He has opened the door for me to travel with a team to Ethiopia.
While a church has been established in Ethiopia, we will be working specifically amongst the Oromo people, who have been largely unreached by the gospel.
Our heart and mission in this trip is to walk alongside the local body of believers in Oromia in their efforts to make disciples among the many villages and peoples who have not heard the hope of the gospel (Matthew 28:18-20).Would you consider supporting this effort to bring hope to the people of Oromia...First, through prayer:
- Please pray that the Lord would give our team tender hearts, that we might walk in humble submission to His will as we seek to engage the unreached and encourage the local body of Christ in Ethiopia.
- Please pray that the Lord would prepare the hearts of the Ethiopian people we will engage with to receive the gospel with gladness. Pray against the strongholds of the devil, believing in faith that God has the power to break all of them. Please specifically pray that many in Ethiopia will come to see the goodness of God and place their faith in Jesus.
Second, through giving financially:- Traveling to Ethiopia comes at a financial cost I am unable to afford on my own, but I am expectant that the Lord will provide in His timing if He wills this trip to happen. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me financially if you have the means to do so?
If you have any questions about Ethiopia, finances, why we engage the unreached, or how the Lord has been at work in my life recently, please do not hesitate to reach out!
With Love,
Sam Roth
