Hello,

I’ve had a recent opportunity to embark on a short-term mission trip to Kenya, Africa this summer. My trip is organized by e3 Partners and I will join a team of others who are taking the Gospel to the people of Kenya.

I have been a believer in Jesus since I was 10. I have always wanted to share Jesus with people who don't know who he is, but I lacked the confidence, the courage and the knowledge. I never felt prepared ...until now. I realized that I have spent a lifetime studying the Bible in church, reading the Bible at home, praying, asking people if they want me to pray for them which is a good thing. But never really helping other people know Jesus. He calls us to share the good news of Jesus. I was scared to go, so I prayed to God that he would reveal what he wants me to do. The very next chapter I read was Psalms 22:27-28 "All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. For the kingdom is the LORD's and He rules over the nations." I believe this is where God is calling me to go to share the Gospel with families in Kenya.

Our team will partner with national churches and believers to target unreached people groups with the Gospel. Each day, I will work with several local believers, including a translator, and go throughout the community, praying for and sharing Christ with those we meet. We will begin the discipleship process with as many new believers as we can, and our local partners are committed to following up with those who make professions of faith throughout the week and establishing new churches in those areas.

I write this to ask that you consider partnering with me on this mission trip through prayer and financial contributions. I believe God has called me to go, but this can only happen if others will join my sending team of spiritual and financial supporters.
