Friend1: “do you plan on doing a missions trip this year?”
Me:” No, don’t think so”
Coworker1: “hey, when are you doing another mission trip?”
Me: “no idea, not really planning anything”
Friend2: “so, when is the next trip?”
Me: “I don’t know, I guess when I have that feeling ill go.”
Wifes friend: “is Shane on Mission?”
Wife: “he says no”
***literally 2 days ago***
GOD: “Shane. You are on Mission”
Me: “uhh, there is only 80 days until the trip. I should wait huh?”
GOD: “SHANE. Get off your butt. You ARE on Mission.”
So there you have it… I am now on Mission with only 78 days to fund.

Hello Friends, Family and those that I have yet
to meet!
For those that know me, you know how passionate I am about helping others and
spreading the good news. For the last couple of years, God put a conviction on
my heart to go out into the world and engage others in conversation; help all
that I could; become a friend to all; listen, and show the love and
power of Christ.
On my past missions, I had the honor of helping tribes receive fresh clean water, teach hygiene,
build bathrooms for schools… all preparing their hearts to allow me the
opportunity to introduce the gospel. Have them hear the stories and my
testimony. Ultimately only requesting to have an open mind and to search for
the truth.
Unfortunately, I am starting extremely late Fundraising and running out of time. The trip will be February 28-March 6th.
Each and every one of you will be with me on
this journey and I appreciate every little thing you are able to provide. Please prayerfully consider helping me reach my
goal to support the cause or simply because you support me doing what I love.
For this trip, our heart is to reach the unreached and unengaged, equipping
leaders and believers to go and make disciples. We will be partnering with local believers to build relationships with the
unreached Digo people in areas where there are no churches. We will use
Community Transformation lessons and activities to build relationships that
draw people to work together to improve or solve an issue they all struggle
within their daily lives.
As we go as listeners and learners, our hope is that
doors will be open to sharing Bible stories, leading to start spiritual
conversations and the gospel. I am excited and nervous to see what opportunities present itself... I mean, I never thought I would ever build a bathroom before. That one act impacted so many and it opened so many doors to build lasting relationships.
Thank you and may God bless you in this
new year.
