This summer, a dedicated team of students from Loma Linda University will travel to Kenya for a mission trip rooted in service, learning, and lasting community impact. We are excited to share this opportunity with you and invite you to partner with us in making it possible.
Our students will work alongside a local women’s clinic and schools to provide support in healthcare, education, and construction projects—all designed to strengthen families and empower communities. While in Kenya, they will:
Construction: Paint newly built teacher housing at the primary school and the new dining hall at the secondary school. If time allows, they will also begin brickwork on a new dormitory to provide safe housing for students.
Clinic: Partner with the Nutrition team to lead a maternal and child health class for new and expectant mothers, offering life-changing education and encouragement.
School-based Activities: General first aid training and sewing projects (to mend their clothing and school uniforms —requested by local students—for children at the elementary and high school, fostering learning, connection, and joy.
In addition, students will contribute to classroom support, health education, and facility improvements, all while putting their training into practice and living out LLU’s values of service, compassion, and global citizenship.
To make this mission possible, we are raising funds to cover travel expenses, medical supplies, building materials, and educational resources. Every contribution—large or small—directly empowers these students to serve, learn, and create a lasting difference for women, children, and families in Kenya.
We invite you to join us in this mission by making a gift today. Your generosity will not only impact communities in Kenya but will also help shape our students into compassionate professionals who carry forward a lifelong commitment to service.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to partner with us. Together, we can bring hope, healing, and education to communities in need.
