Hi, my name is Shelly Rauser and I am a 2nd year medical student at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine who is interested in the field of ophthalmology. I thoroughly enjoy participating in outreach activities, both locally in the Southern California area as well as internationally. I most recently served in Kitale, Kenya, where I provided vision screenings and distributed reading and prescription glasses during a free medical camp.

In partnership with La Loma Luz Adventist hospital, the School of Medicine is sending a team to collaborate and interact with host institution’s staff to provide healthcare education and assessment to local patients and families to promote wholeness and advancement of healthcare capacities, and I will be a part of that team. I am excited for this great opportunity to learn and grow through outreach and service. I am looking forward to answering God's call in Belize this Spring and would greatly appreciate any and every donation!
