Copan is located in the Western most part of Honduras, very close to Guatemala. The population is around 20,000, and the principle religion is Catholic. For centuries, Copan was home to the Maya civilization. Ruins of that era are still standing today and can be visited on our free day. 
The photo above is a very fond memory for me. This was our very first trip to Honduras with a team. We shared the gospel with many people. On the last night we had a celebration service. Many people wanted to follow Jesus in baptism. 
Our team will be partnering with local churches and leaders to evangelize the lost and disciple believers and start some house churches. If you have NEVER been on an international mission trip, consider this one. It will be straight forward, and we will give you all the training you need. The people of Copan need to hear the simple biblical message of salvation. Will you take it?
