My life and my heart were forever changed last summer on my short-term discipleship trip to Ethiopia. My faith was challenged and stretched, and from that I have experienced incredible growth. It gave me a deeper understanding of God’s grace and love. I got to see God at work in the lives and hearts of numerous people, both the Ethiopians as well as my team. One thing I loved about the trip was to know the Christians who live there will be discipling the new believers! These individuals love the Lord and I consider myself lucky to have served alongside them.

I have been blessed with the privilege of returning to Ethiopia in summer, 2019! The part I am most excited about is sharing the Gospel with people who have never even heard the name of Christ before! I live in Dallas, part of the “Bible Belt”, where churches exist on every corner. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the villages where we will spend our time have yet to hear Jesus’ name! How exciting that I get to be a part of sharing Jesus with them!
