BIG NEWS! Students of Pacific Union College are motivated to run a student-operated Mission trip to the Philippines, this upcoming spring break on 2020.
As PUC pioneers, we are starting a new collaborative project to expand our reach to the Mangyan community of Qinomay Mindoro, Philippines. We plan to build a new long-lasting church, provide medical and dental services, and share Jesus.
We started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need for this undergoing project. We have a one-time single donations goal of $70,000 that will go towards 25 students and volunteers serving the community of Qinomay Mindoro, Philippines.
This year, students are undertaking a student-operated project in the Philippines. We are partnering with several clubs, the South-Central Luzon Conference, and World Missions to fundraise to help cover the cost of this trip; however, we will also need the help of friends and family. Our goal is to aid in building a sustainable community.
We plan to build a new long-lasting church, provide medical and dental services, and promote the gospel through an evangelistic series and VBS program. The church is one storm away from collapsing on the families who are worshiping our God. The church is 36 years old and is suffering from termites and years of heavy storms. There are holes on the walls and a huge part of the roof missing However, our overall goal is to aid in building a sustainable community.
Every donation is important and will enable us to be present and help others in need. Would you kindly consider making a donation? Also, I would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
Thank you so much for being a part of our journey and helping us accomplish something that's important to all of us!
