As a former Muslim, born and raised in the Middle East. I grew up in a very strict Muslim family and community where 90% of the population was Muslim. After the loss of my grandmother, God miraculously brought healing to my heart which began my journey toward Christ.
The cost I had to pay for becoming a follower of Christ has been high. But despite harsh rejection from my Muslim family and danger from the Muslim community—to whose way of life is now a threat—I remains passionate about reaching the lost with the hope I have found in Christ.
As a
former Muslim woman, I has been able to use my knowledge to build
authentic connections with Muslim women, reaching out to them in a sensitive,
effective way. I am able to help Christian audiences understand women in
Islamic countries, as well as the Muslim culture and religion. My goal is to
help Christians move from fear to love and compassion in their approach to
Muslims, so that they, too, can love as Christ does. My ministry is
essential to Christian leaders, ministers, and anyone who wants to learn to
love and understand Muslims.
Currently I am serving as field missionary with Middle East
Central Asia team at E3 Partners ministry in Plano, TX. As a leader of the
ministry, I helps to equip and engage churches and individuals in outreach to
Muslims. You can find out more about me at www.purecharity.com/safeeya , Safeeya@E3Partners.org and
