Over my lifetime I have had the privilege of serving on Mission teams throughout Central and South America, Eastern Europe, in the southern regions of Africa. All of these trips have been fulfilling and exciting, some more than others. For over a year I have watched my daughter’s (Kristi) excitement and enthusiasm grow as she has worked to raise her funding for this trip. This past September 10th, we we’re talking about the trip and she asked me, “Why don’t you go with me?” before I realized it I said yes. I am especially excited about this trip to Uganda for four reasons: 1. Missions has been an important part of my life for 40 years but it has been over 10 years since I have had the opportunity to go on an international mission trip. 2. The trip is for a good purpose. A combination of work and building relationships. 3. It’s somewhere I’ve never been 4. I may never get another opportunity to spend this type of quality time doing a good work with my daughter. I have to admit, I did agree to go before I realize the entire cost of the trip. While I think that the cost is in line with the type of trip, the amount of travel, and the work to be done, it is still substantial. I had $2,000 set aside and designated for my next International mission trip. So, I am asking you, my family, friends, and others who may think this worthwhile, to be a part of this Mission by helping me raise the remaining $2,600 needed for this adventure. May God richly bless you for any contribution that you can make and may He bless you especially for being a part of the work that is done in his name. Thank you!
