We have been in Tijuana this week. Have visited a few shelters so far. Needless to say the situation is heartbreaking.

We met a boy and his mother who are from El Salvador. They walked for 6 months to Tijuana in hopes of claiming alyssum. The process used to take a few days but now takes 4 months. And this is just one story. 

We distributed each shelter with a ton of clothing (as it has been freezing here in Tijuana the past week) and food, and implemented water filters so they can have an easy access to clean water.
