In 2004, while working a
corporate job as a packaging designer and project manager, I was asked to write
a personal mission statement. My passion was “to equip and empower others so
they could be successful in what they are passionate about.” I had no idea that
10 years later, God would call me full time into the mission field to use that
passion for His kingdom!
As the CT (Community
Transformation) Coordinator in Tanzania, I
help equip, educate, and empower communities so they can be transformed for God’s
glory! Using practical, Bible-based, easily
implemented tools, we help communities identify their greatest problems,
prioritize those problems, and develop an appropriate strategy for
solving them, using sustainable resources available within the community. In the process, they learn about
Jesus's unconditional love and genuine concern for them.
My heart, along with the
e3 Tanzania team, is to reach the unreached and unengaged, equipping leaders
and believers to go and make disciples, until all of Tanzania has an
opportunity to know Jesus. CT integrates with the strategy of church planting
movements and is used successfully as an entry point with unreached people
groups to build relationships and open doors for the Gospel.
