I'm going
fundracing for MS research at TriFest for MS!
My Race TriFest for MS Olympic Triathlon- I have raced at TriFest for the last 3 years and it's a blast! The Rampy's have so much passion for the sport and more importantly finding a cure for MS. Donate an amount for every mile I race (1 swim, 24.8 bike, 6.2 run= 32), or I will be taking donations for triathlon clinics, and personally getting you ready for a triathlon! Thanks for your help, lets RACE!
My Story
Dane Baldini was born in West Palm Beach, FL. He grew up in Colorado Springs, CO
for most of his childhood. When he reached Middle School he developed a passion for
mountain biking. He joined a mountain bike club in high school, which enabled him to
gain more experience, build relationships, and improve technical skills.
After graduation, Dane moved to Bentonville, AR. and discovered his passion for racing
mountain bikes. Everything changed when he began to train for his first XTERRA Off-
road triathlon in 2011. At this first Xterra race, he finished 11th overall and 1st in his age
group. At that point on, the “Wildman” was hooked.
Dane proceeded to gain momentum in XTERRA triathlon and took on the South Central
Regional Champion title for his age group in 2012 and 2014. He placed 2nd in the region
in 2011 and 2013 as well. He competed at the XTERRA USA Championship twice and
has qualified every year to race in Utah. In September of 2015 Dane qualified and raced
for Team USA in the ITU Cross World Championship triathlon in Italy and placed 13th in
division in the world, and 4th American overall.
What’s next? 2016 has been a great year so far placing 2nd at USAT Cross Triathlon National Championship at Degray Lake. Planning on racing XTERRA Winter Park, Pikes Peak Hill Climb, XTERRA Nationals in Utah, and TRIFEST for MS!!! Dane is also a 2016 XTERRA triathlon ambassador.
Dane is the life of endurance racing. He always lightens the race day nerves by making
other racers laugh and enjoy the moment. It’s not just about competing and winning for
Dane. He has a true passion and love for the sport and enjoys encouraging others along
the way while building relationships.
My Encouragement
I believe in the Rampy's and their foundation. I want to be a part of such an amazing group that is all about research and finding a cure for MS.
Dedication
I dedicate my race to my beautiful daughters Zoie, Bailey, and Mia. You never know when an illness will hit close to home. Thankful for everything God has blessed me with.
