"Boham" in Dari means together, along with, or alongside. From our time in Tajikistan to our work in Georgia, we see a consistent need: to partner with refugee families and communities and work towards a better future alongside them.

Our initiative is to travel to Tajikistan (and possibly another location) to meet with local leaders, the UN, government officials, and other non-profits to assess the needs of the Afghan refugee community that has been largely left behind and start a program that is practically meeting needs.

We are raising $40,000 to kick off this new and important endeavor.
$18,000 to cover our family's travel expenses along with some language training to build our ability to serve the Dari-speaking community in Tajikistan and in Georgia.

The remaining funds will be the initial fund to split between our work supporting refugee families in Tajikistan and advocating for detained refugee individuals in Georgia.

It is a big vision with many parts and something we are committed to in helping the growing refugee community.
