UGANDA 

Dayton & Natasya Holt, and their 2 boys Elijah & Malachi-- plan to take some time away from Oregon, to work alongside Develop Sustainability Org. within the rural communities around Bethany Village, in Namuzikiza Uganda. 

For Natasya, it is a return visit to a place very close to her heart. For Dayton, this is a place for him to apply his hands-on problem solving skills. His knowledge can be shared & utilized in exponential ways. While he able to both teach and learn, efficient ways to utilize resources and knowledge, in areas with very little access to resources.

Their 2 boys are a welcome addition to the many children around, looking to make new friends and enjoy "just being kids". They are all excited to share their giftings, skills & aptitudes, curiosity, and resourcefulness alongside local Ugandans for Develop Sustainability projects in Uganda. Their joy is welcome in this rural community!!

They are ready & excited to share this time with family & friends in Uganda-- while also bringing wisdom and tangible hope, to this community and the various Develop Sustainability projects around the area! Their combined goals include; home construction for families, furniture building, helping with acres of local Vanilla farming, and Natasya’s favorite part... working with the children and alongside the teachers, at Bethany Christian School. 

The Holt Family, along with their home church, friends and even Scappoose School District are a key component in gathering school supplies, for Uganda. These education supplies are taken to rural schools in Uganda (including, but exclusively Bethany Christian School) . Develop Sustainability assists in the efforts to improve education to rural children, and to provide correct and current curriculum to areas that are lacking resources. Child Focused teacher training, and staff development are a main focus for Natasya-- during her visit.
