Yahve Shamma Egg Farm, the first global mission by Help One Now and Happy Egg to establish a sustainable egg farm in Haiti.

At Happy Egg, we believe in raising families with love by providing nourishment, creating sustainable living environments and enriching communities. That’s why, in collaboration with Help One Now, we’re proud to embark on our first global mission to build: The Nourish Project: Yahve Shamma Egg Farm.

Just days after the 2010 Haiti earthquake, local leader Pastor Gaétan Alcégaire immediately improved the lives of families and children affected by founding the Yahve Shamma Children’s Home in Petiónville, Haiti. By building the children’s home, and soon to follow academy, he gave orphaned children and community members a place to live, love, learn and be nourished, in spite of loss and devastation.

Since its inception, 7 children have been reunited with their families or relatives, and thousands of people from the surrounding community have been impacted by the school. Today, Pastor Gaétan and his family provide 24/7 care to 40 orphaned children, and the Academy provides a well-rounded education to over 600 students. Help us further the great, selfless work that Pastor Gaétan has done to change the lives of those who lost everything nearly 9 years ago.
