Sole Hope has made a huge impact by offering hope, healthier lives, and freedom from foot-related diseases through education, jobs and medical relief.
In addition to providing free medical care to the worst cases at the Hope Center, provide education, travel to local villages to host jigger removal clinics, and providing jobs by employeing local tailors, shoemakers, nurses, cooks, guards, drivers, social workers and more; Sole Hope provides free shoes to all of their patients.
The shoes are locally made in Uganda and are made of 98% recycled materials. Blue jeans and old plastic milk jugs make the top part, and old tires make the soles. These materials are durable and won't wear out before the child outgrows them! They are designed to last and be passed down to the next person.
Help us take the #nextstep in the shoe-making process.
Our goal is to sponsor and additional 50 pairs of shoes. Your donation of $10 means that a child in Uganda will get a pair of closed toe shoes. By sponsoring a pair of shoes today, you will ensure work for Sole Hope's Ugandan shoemakers tomorrow.
Even the smallest amounts given regularly can make a huge impact!
