The Voices Project exists to train and promote leaders of color. For the last several years the Voices Project has worked in partnership with Kilns College, an online faith-based graduate program, to provide post grad college access, scholarships, instruction, training, and support to student leaders of color. We are now advancing these efforts as, beginning June 1, 2020, The Voices Project assumes full leadership of Kilns College.
The plan is to build a school that will offer the power of a liberated theology and the relational practice of community development, centered in the cultural context of people of color. It will be a hybrid of online and neighborhood based, face-to-face classes led primarily by local professors of color. In 2021 the new school will launch to offer certificates in primary focus areas as well as advanced degrees in Innovative Leadership.
