Why I'm Going:

The current refugee crisis in Northern Uganda has presented a unique opportunity to proclaim the Gospel and disciple those who have fled the war and turmoil in South Sudan.

Background:

There are over 1.2 million refugees in camps along the northern border of Uganda and Rhino Camp near Arua, Uganda is home to over 70,000 refugees.

What I'll Do:

I will have the opportunity to minister to these refugees as we partner with Ugandan and South Sudanese pastors to train church members in a method to share their faith and the Gospel, disciple new believers and plant home churches.

I will have a unique opportunity to proclaim the Gospel and disciple those who might not otherwise hear God’s redemptive story of peace and hope and start multiplying groups of “Disciples Making Disciples.”
