With a greater metropolitan population of about one million, Bucaramanga, the capital of Santander, is one of Colombia's major cities.  God is doing great things in Bucaramanga as churches are being established and many people are open to the Gospel.  Our family prayerfully considered the opportunity to participate in this short-term mission trip, and God has responded.

While originally we were confident in God's calling of my wife and son, I was wavering on whether He was calling the rest of our family to go as well. After initially deciding that we wouldn't be going, God continued to lay this on our hearts, and after much consideration I realized that I had been saying no, and not God. So here we are stepping out in faith to follow where God leads!
